LASER THERAPY

LLLT, Cold Laser, Photobiomodulation, (it is known under different names) is an effective treatment for many musculoskeletal conditions.

Helping to speed recovery from surgery and injury, it is used by many human athletes including Mo Farah, especially at the first sign of injury to aid repair of damaged tissues.

The Clinical Canine Therapist now has a cutting edge, UK manufactured Omega Class 3B laser that can be used to activate healing in the acute stage of injury, stimulate tissue regeneration during the chronic stage and inhibit pain. Great for lots of conditions such as arthritis, faster healing of cranial cruciate injuries post surgery, trigger point calming, sprains and strains and tendonitis to name a few.

This is a completely safe treatment with no thermal effect.  I tend to use it in conjunction with my massage therapy but for dogs who are intolerant to touch it can be a stand alone therapy. Contact me for more details.
